and is an excellent example of how powerful a pin can be, Richard now plays in the Manchester & Stockport leagues and William still plays local chess for Cheddleton Chess Club, the game on the right was a blindfold game played 76 years
earlier in 1900, played By Richard Beach's Great Grandfather at Macclesfield Chess Club. |
